Tests to participate in

Relatix Bio has constructed tests, and accrued tests to help you profile yourself, or someone you care about. Some of these tests are similar to what you’d get from a psychologist, but they are all tailored to your experience of your life, rather than anyone else’s judgement. At Relatix Bio, we focus on your wellbeing and health first and foremost.

Quality of life, ways my brain works

This is a set of tests designed to give you insights into how your brain, or the brain of others work. These are also tests to see how your life is impacted by the way your brain works. Sometimes it is helpful to have another set of eyes, to help you get a perspective on where you are, which strengths to build on, and where you compensate, or could do with some support.

Ways of Thinking, Functioning & Life Impact

These surveys help you understand your overall well-being, daily functioning, and thinking patterns. Each can be completed for yourself, or as an observation for someone you support.

Life Impact

Measures how traits or conditions affect work, relationships, health, and confidence.

Ways of Thinking

Identifies cognitive patterns, self-reflection, and reasoning style.

Quality of Life

Assesses satisfaction, social connectedness, health, and emotional balance.

Self-assessment tests

These tests are self-assessment, and only guides, but they can give you an indication of which diagnosis you might be given by a psychologist or a psychiatrist. Having said that, Relatix thinks differently about diagnosis. We focus on your lived experience, and the way you want your life to be, in the best possible world. Many current diagnostic forms are outdated, and behaviour-driven, which means they misdiagnose a lot of people. For example a question like “Are you obsessed by trains?”, is only relevant for people who have some access to trains, and are excluding a lot of other people who might have the same brain wiring, but are obsessed by something else. Many people in touch with psychiatry also get different opinions, or changing diagnoses, for a few reasons. You change over your lifetime, learn new skills, and managing yourself. As your circumstances change, what you do might change. It is also often people get several different diagnoses, like autism+ASPD, or ADHD+tics. At Relatix Bio, we believe these are due to strong overlaps in the the brain biology and brain development. We also try to provide friend-assessment tests, so that you can get some suggestion as to what someone you care are going through, even if they are reluctant to get a diagnosis. It is because for most people who’s brain are radically different – their biggest asset is someone who cares, understands, and supports.

These are quick self-assessments and observer checklists to help you understand patterns and guide next steps. Choose whether you’re taking the test for yourself or as a carer/friend. None of these tests are a substitute for getting professional help, but can hopefully inspire you to continue to learn about yourself.
